Search everything hospitals published, one price type at a time. The same billing code can appear several times because prices legitimately differ by care setting, billing type, modifiers, and — for negotiated rates — payment methodology. We never merge those contexts, we never rank different price types against each other, and we never mix payment methodologies (a per-diem is a daily amount, not the price of a full stay).
Definition
Every row shows its comparable-hospital count ("n"). Market statistics
(typical hospital price, percentiles, spread) are computed over ONE
representative price per hospital — repeated contract rows add no weight —
and exist only where at least 3 hospitals can be compared in the exact same
context; other rows are labeled "Too few hospitals". See

Nothing matches these filters. If "Which contexts" is set to Comparable
only, switch to Everything published to include contexts below the
3-hospital comparison floor.
Caution
"Price rows" counts every published row behind a context; "Comparable
hospitals" counts hospitals whose price could be represented safely — the
statistics use one representative price per hospital, never raw row counts.
Negotiated rates additionally show their payment methodology: a
per diem is a daily amount and is never compared with case rates or
fee schedules. A service showing "Description not available" usually carries
a CPT code: CPT descriptions are licensed by the AMA and cannot be
republished here. The code itself still compares correctly. Blank price
columns mean the context is below the 3-hospital floor — the individual
hospital prices are still on the service page.
