# Hospital Price Transparency — Public Data Bundle

Corpus: Nashville metro
Exported (UTC): 2026-07-17T22:39:53.133285+00:00
Build: `e15531a`
Analytics contract: `hospital_weighted_methodology_v2` — market
percentiles are hospital-weighted (one representative amount per
hospital, deduplicated contract votes) and methodology-specific
(per diem / case rate / fee schedule never mix in one statistic).

Each table ships as Parquet and CSV with identical content. CSVs
larger than 25 MB are gzip-compressed (`.csv.gz`).

## How to use this data responsibly

- Every claim is bounded to the corpus above. Do not present results
as regional or national benchmarks beyond it.
- Never rank different price types against each other: gross_charge
  (list price), discounted_cash (self-pay), and negotiated_dollar
  (insurer-negotiated) are separate measures.
- Never compare different negotiated methodologies against each
other: a per-diem value is a DAILY payment, not the price of a
  full stay or episode.
- Respect the published comparison gates: rows or contexts marked
insufficient_denominator have fewer than 3 comparable hospitals and
carry no market statistics by design.
- Readiness/usability scores describe how usable a hospital's
published file is. They are not legal-compliance findings and not
  statements about care quality.
- Prices are hospital-published standard charges. They are not
  quotes and not a patient's out-of-pocket cost.
